necessary - making your writing more economical.
EXAMPLE In
the following paragraph, 'should' is omitted between 'management' and 'become' (probably
omitted in this case to soften the tone, and to avoid sounding too prescriptive)
The institution itself has to recognize the need for change and be prepared for it, and one could argue that the management become heavily involved in the change itself. |
